And then there’s THIS.

Bio

Living and working in Kansas City.

I'm a registered architect of some three decades, but have been taking photos since my brother and I convinced Dad we wouldn't drop his Argus C-3.  I’ve been doing it professionally since 2009.

Graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in Environmental Design and Architecture; studied sculpture at Kansas City Art Institute; earned certification in secondary education at Avilla College, Kansas City.

In addition to my independent work, I was the in-house photographer at Populous (formerly HOK Sport) in Kansas City from 2006 to 09.  And I (at one time) was certified to teach high school chemistry.  Long story.

2016 Biennale, Venice

I was invited by the Global Art Affairs Foundation to show my photography at their Time Space Existence exhibit at the 2016 Venice Biennale. The Biennale ran from May through November, my wall was in their Palazzo Mora.

"As part of the 15th International Architecture Exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia, the Collateral Event 'Time Space Existence' at Palazzo Bembo, Palazzo Mora and Palazzo Rossini presents architects from 6 continents, brought together in an extraordinary combination.

This exhibition documents current developments and thoughts in architecture, highlighting fundamental questions by discussing the philosophical concepts Time, Space and Existence. An international group of architects and architecture photographers with different cultural backgrounds and who are in different stages of their careers, i.e. established architects next to photographers whose works might be less known. What they have in common is their dedication to architecture in the broadest sense of their profession."
