Kind of a bucket list item for me: Ride one of the HC climbs from the Tour de France.

I’m not getting any younger so I decided to do it this year.  Rented a bike in Lourdes and took off for col d’Aubisque.  For those familiar, I went across to Laurens and approached from the west side — the Soulor-first direction doesn’t rank as an Hors catégorie after all.

I took all these with my phone’s camera, so please don’t judge my technique too harshly.  And I’d been kicked by a horse, so there’s that.
